Chinese Checkers, also known as Chinese chequers, is a strategic board game that originated in Germany (known as "Sternhalma"). It can be played by two, three, four, or six individuals, either individually or in teams. This game is a modern and simplified version of the American game Halma.
The objective of Chinese Checkers is to be the first to move all of one's pieces across the unique hexagram-shaped board and into the "home" corner of the star opposite their starting corner. This can be achieved through single-step moves or by jumping over other pieces. The remaining players continue the game to determine the second, third, fourth, fifth, and last-place finishers. The rules are straightforward, making it accessible even for young children.
